Who are we?
I am Russell and I have been working as a mechanic since leaving school in 1976, working for various dealers in both Cheshire and Kent. I started at a local British Leyland dealer in my home town of Knutsford in Cheshire and I stayed with the brand through its many name changes, right up to the end of MG Rover. You could say I grew up with Rover and a little bit of me died when MG Rover closed in late 2004.
Like some people now, I started to advertise on eBay. At the time it was a unique service, offering a fully mobile head gasket replacement repair at your home or place of work; at a fraction of the cost of main dealers and independent garages.
With my experience of over 35 years, no one else offering this type of service can come close to matching it. With my passion and enthusiasm for MG Rover cars and getting things right, I feel I offer a very strong case for saying it’s possibly the best mobile service of its kind in the UK and beyond. This is backed up by hundreds of satisfied customers, many of which can be found on the various MG/Rover forums, Facebook groups and clubs around the country.
Although you can now find some people offering a similar mobile service, don’t be fooled by these cheaper alternatives and take a closer look at what they offer, most will only give you 3 months guarantee on their labour and some don’t offer any . As far as I am aware I am the only person with the confidence to offer you a full 12 months parts and labour guarantee. the only one to have T4 which is the only diagnostic platform that can communicate to all your cars electrical systems, as it was specifically designed by Rover & Omitec for Rovers dealer network.
